“FORTUNE CORD” – Original Visual Design System

“FORTUNE CORD” is the name adopted by Dan Chen (陈丹) since 2025 for her original visual design system. This system uses “a cord threading a coin” as its core language, covering star charts, coin-shaped variations, and topological connection methods. This name is interrelated with the registered Chinese trademark “财绳” (Cai Sheng), both referring to the same creative source and body of work. The term “FORTUNE CORD” is a literal and conceptual translation of the creator’s prior Chinese IP “财绳”. The visual system is intended for global distribution, including but not limited to China, the US, and EU markets.
The graphic works independently created by the author under this system are protected by copyright in accordance with the copyright laws of various countries. The author does not claim exclusive rights over elements that may belong to the public domain or that are already owned by others. Anyone wishing to use the graphic works for commercial purposes is kindly requested to obtain the author’s written permission.
This statement does not affect the author’s prior rights under Article 32 of the Trademark Law or any other applicable legal provisions.
“FORTUNE CORD” may be used in commercial promotion as an unregistered trademark and may be indicated with the ™ symbol. The author may choose to register it as a trademark.
Any party wishing to use the graphic works from this system on commercial products (including but not limited to automotive interiors, toys, textiles, printed matter, digital content, etc.) please obtain a written license through the contact information below. Unauthorized commercial use constitutes infringement. We welcome partnership inquiries.
The creation dates and integrity of the core works of this system have been publicly timestamped using blockchain technology (OpenTimestamps) and are permanently recorded in public GitHub repositories.
